Economic treatises for the CEO of the playground.

You’ve read a lot of business books in your career, but they probably didn’t have any illustrations of pandas in them.
However, Ruth Percival’s adorable Little Business Books series — illustrated by Dean Gray — feature pandas, koalas, lions and kangaroos! That’s because they’re building blocks for the entrepreneurs of the future.
So far, six of Percival’s picture books (Change, Creativity, Growth, Resilience, Responsibility and Teamwork) explore core business concepts via animal adventures. For example: Tilly Tiger’s drive to improve her product means that Enzo Elephant must learn how to adapt; and Enzo discovers that the key to healthy change is authentic listening, lots of teamwork, and a dose of courage.
Don’t worry, these aren’t manuals for indoctrinating kids with a rise-and-grind, profit-obsessed mindset from the jump. (Among the animals, you won’t find a literal Gordon Gekko here.) Like all good children’s books, they teach foundational and ethical life skills. It just so happens those skills are pretty good for business, too.
