The two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback signed a four-year, $84 million contract extension in Sept. The pact included a $31 million signing bonus and $65 million in guarantees. The guarantee is tied for the most ever given to an NFL player, matching Philip Rivers deal. Manning’s career earnings are now the highest among active players with $188 million after the retirement of his brother Peyton.
