Rivers signed a four-year, $83.25 million contract extension with the San Diego Chargers in August 2015. The pact included a $22.5 million signing bonus and $15 million salary for the 2015 season. The deal also includes a no-trade clause from the only franchise Rivers has ever known as a pro. He led the league in passes completed in 2015 and finished second in passing yards.
